True to its reputation for
ruggedness and aggressive performance, Jeep surged in sales in April 2015, with
two from its stable finishing among the top 20 best-selling vehicles during
that month. The Jeep Cherokee finished 17th, with sales of 19,072, while the
Jeep Wrangler finished 19th, with sales of 18,849 — just one unit behind the
18th-place Chrysler 200. It was the first time each of these Jeep nameplates
broke into the top 20 and a testament to the success that Jeep’s owner, Fiat
Chrysler, has engineered with the brand.
