Anticipating the 2015 Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival will take place in Butler, Penn., June 12-14, celebrating the 75th anniversary of this classic four-wheeler. Organizers are inviting all Jeep owners to attend, not only to celebrate this proud milestone but also to reclaim a Guinness world record. Butler held the Guinness record of 1,106 Jeeps participating in a parade, but Daytona Beach, Fla., surpassed that record on April 26. Now Butler, the birthplace of the original U.S. Army Jeep, is trying to get that record back where Butler boosters think it belongs.

The largest Jeep event in the U.S., the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival has drawn as many as 2,000 Jeeps coming from 30 states across the country to participate. Besides the parade, events and attractions include five offroad trails, a Jeep show, a World War II military encampment and the annual Jeep Invasion street party.
